One of the first photographs I took with the GX7. My first real camera.
I never really owned a proper camera myself before this shot. I always had cheap compact cameras or simply toyed around with someone else’s camera.
I finally bought my own camera, a mirrorless M43 Panasonic Gx7.
On a company day trip to Paris, I took the very shot that made me fall in love with photography and the mirrorless format.
Dreaming about the next shot…

My weapon of choice.
A mirrorless, micro 4/3 camera. Smaller than typical DSLR’s, without sacrificing the ability to take breathtaking shots.
The portability of using a mirrorless is a prime factor in obtaining these shots. Without it, I couldn’t image capturing as many of these moments with relative ease.
My favourite and most used lens.
Makes me think about my shot, and gives me great depth of field on my photos, sharp pictures and great performance in low light conditions.
Nothing has developed my photography more than shooting in RAW every time. It helps me a lot with post processing where I need it most, and really brings out the magic in my photos.
